Hello! My name is Wes Alexander. I reside just outside of Smith Mills, in the beautiful hills and fertile bottoms of Western Kentucky. Just a stones through from the Alzey Bottoms on the banks of the Ohio River. My Papaw introduced me to the great outdoors and the joys and memories of hunting. I started kicking up rabbits, quail, and squirrels at a young age. After a couple of deer hunts with a fire arm I decided, with a little prodding from a buddy to begin bow hunting around the age of 14. In my first trip to the woods I arrowed a doe and have been hooked ever since!!

In 2001 I was enrolled in Eastern Kentucky University on a Track and Field scholarship and was an Agri-Business major. It was there I was introduced to the owners of what was then X-Ring Archery products. They took me under their wing and led me into the world of competitive shooting through ASA and IBO. I shot in the Unlimited Class and spent some time in the Semi-Pro division at some of the Nationals. I have had the honor to be named to several Pro Staff positions with some great companies and meet a lot of the hunting industries finest personalities.

I currently work back on the family farm with my father and uncle. My position allows me to continue to give to the outdoors and spend a great deal of time chasin’ whitetails, “long neck chickens” (Turkey), small game, wing shooting and waterfowl. Western Big Game is my next challenge. My long term goal is to also be a professional and represent the outdoors that I have grown to love and respect.
