My name is Bobby Hicks. I was born in 1969 and live in Spottsville, KY with my wife Paula. We have been married for 8 years and have a set of boy/girl twins named Remington and Riley that are 5 years old. I also have two stepsons that are 16 and 13 named Mitchell and LoganGentry. There is never a dull moment in our household!!
I am thankful to God every day to be a farmer and get to be one with the land as much as possible. Farming has been in my family for four generations and I hope to someday hand the operation down to my children. I love being able to work outside in the great outdoors!! When I am not farming you will find me in a boat duckhunting or in a tree watching for "The Next Big One." I love having the opportunity to take the boys hunting and seeing the excitement in their eyes when they happen to be at the right spot at the right time and everything comes together.........which makes for a great hunting story!!
My dad and I attended church together and God entered my life when I was 12 years old. I come from a family that loves being outdoors whether it is working outdoors, hunting outdoors, or camping outdoors. My dad and I hunted and worked together until July of 2007 when he was unexpectedly called home to be with our Lord. That is why I am thankful for everyday that I have with my kids to teach them as much as I can about hunting and living off the land!!
