Team M.a.F.i.a. Outdoors LLCwill be hosting our first anual youth dove hunt this year. PVR has been gracious enough to opensome of their land up for us to use for getting some youngsters out in the field. Team M.a.F.i.a. Outdoors LLC has been hard at work this summer planting some Wildlife Perfect seed in our food plots for the sole benefit of providingwild game with some nutritional food. OK, I will have to confess that we have an alterior motive, we like to hunt these well nutritionalized critters as well. We have placed several of our Wild Game Innovations trail cameras on our farms and have been getting some pretty impressivemug shots to add to our prospective hit list. Using these cameras has been very beneficial in placing some stands on our properties. This has been getting us geared up for this years upcoming season, but we areredirecting our focus to the upcoming Land and Wildlife Expo that will be heldin Nashville, TN at the OpryMills property.

Hunters across the country know how hard it is to find prime land to hunt. Team M.a.F.i.a. Outdoors has been blessed with opportunities to hunt in various new locations. After having several discussions within our community and outside our community with others discussing our organization's purpose and beliefs we have had several people support us by giving us permission to hunt their property. Over the past year we have had great success and several youngsters harvesting their first big game animals on these properties. We have thoroughly enjoyed building relationships with the land owners, each other, and our Heavenly Father.

Team M.a.F.i.a. Outdoors recently took our new bowfishing pontoon on it's "maiden voyage". We had an absolute blast! We started our trip on the Cumberland River which is the down side of Barkley Dam. Needless to say we never even put the boat in the water there. Some guys with a great sponsor of ours, AMS Bowfishing, told us to go right down the roadto Kentucky Dam and shoot the Tennessee River. Boy did we ever sling the Innerlocs in the Tennessee! Thanks for the advice! We began to see fish as soon as we put the boat in the water. One of our youngsters, using a Fish Hawk Jr. bow from AMS, took her first fish ever. She was so excited she could hardly even speak. It was a great experience for her and us too! We fished for about 4 hours and ended up with 17 fish and a lot of smiles. Of course we value the smiles more than the bounty. What a great night!
